It's at the heart of Pondicherry. It was very close to Rock beach, Promenade street, Gandhi statue. We had breakfast at Satsanga. It's a French bistro. We ate the finest french toast there. And the owner of this bistro owns such a cute milk shaded cat. It's a 1 minute walk from this bistro to Rock beach. From here, we went on to get bikes to commute for next 2 days. And the boys were all set to hit the streets of Pondicherry. Bike riding just next to beach was the best feel in Pondicherry. Winds were hitting our faces and it was smooth.

In the evening, we again went back to the Rock beach and the view was simply amazing. Pondicherry is similar to Goa but smaller in size. 7. It's full all the time for obvious reasons. Late night, we planned to take a long ride to Auroville beach. We three tried to scare each other with our different interpretations of what's going on around us and how the same temple is occurring over and over. I even started a serious conversation that what if out of three of us, one of the guy has been captured by some enigmatic power and other two are victims and getting trapped.

We took random dark routes just to scare each other. It was fun and a lot scary. And yes, we believe that these riding photos got blur because of some ghost between the camera and us. We planned to experience the sunrise from the shores. Note this, we are at the eastern coast of India and next to us is the gigantic Bay of Bengal. We dozed off with the plan to wake up early to watch the sunrise. Who knew, we would actually rise up. We woke up at 5:30am and grabbed lemon tea and walked towards the beach. Sun had its own plans to make this fun. It was very cloudy and sunrise was delayed by around 1 hour.

With Sunburn around the corner, it is essential that you know a little know about this particular, sunny beach in Goa, which hosts the grand event every year. Trust us that on the matter that you would certainly require a lot more space to relax than you do in usual, while you are in Candolim beach, Goa. You got to save room for BT & Axwell, wouldn't you? Apart from getting sunburnt with the fine trance event, you can also shop some trendy leather and jewellery. You can also walk up to Sinquerim and enjoy the cool and the quiet. Goa may finally be ready to open its doors to the first Playboy Club in India, but permission for the launch comes with certain strict riders. Nudity, vulgarity and obscenity will have no place in the club, and the state administration has promised to withdraw permission to set it up if it is found to violate "the ethical code". Nikhil Desai, Goa's director of tourism, said. Speaking on Friday, Goa tourism minister Dilip Parulekar said the state government will not permit a Playboy Club in Goa. He said the state is already fighting the menaces of prostitution and drug peddling and is not willing to attract any more issues. Parulekar's statement came a day after chief minister Manohar Parrikar initiated an inquiry into the setting up of the Playboy Club in the state. The Indian franchisee of the U.S.-based club had announced the setting up of the property in India on the Candolim beach. Women's organisations had raised objections to the opening of such a club in the state, claiming it would show the region in a poor light. Playboy's local franchisee PB Lifestyle has plans to open more than 100 outlets in India. When their launch was announced, PB Lifestyle stressed that there would be no nudity in the club.

Tourists hoping to blow off steam in India's party state may end up disappointed after authorities moved to ban public drinking in the area. The chief minister of Goa, an area famous for its alcohol-fuelled full moon beach parties, warned that the law would come into force by next month. Part of the new law would mean liquor stores that allow people to drink in public near their premises could be fined or see their licences revoked. Chief minister Manohar Parrikar told The Times of India: 'If someone wants to drink, they should drink inside and not in public places.

Goa's buzzing nightlife, beautiful beaches and cheap cost of living has seen the area become a favourite for foreign travellers looking for a place to party. Share But authorities have been keen to shake off that image for some time and have gradually began to crackdown on the parties. Speaking last month Mr Parrikhar said: 'Late night rave parties are illegal and it is where drugs are consumed and distributed. He has also said that drinkers sit in the street and smash their bottles on the ground, creating a nuisance. Last year, the state government imposed penalties for anyone caught drinking in any of its various 'No Alcohol Consumption Zones'. The move has fueled fears that Goa's tourism would suffer as a result of the crackdown. One resident wrote on Facebook: 'Very thoughtless ban. Goa's main income is tourism.

Over one million voters will either choose to vote in the incumbent BJP or opt for change. Our examination of party manifestos provides an insight into the intensity of the battle for one of India’s most prosperous states, ranked first in terms of per capita income (in 2014-15), and the country’s fourth-most literate state. Other parties have raised concerns about the location-as both the Congress and the AAP said that the land was acquired through land fraud from the local tribals. As one of its big promises, the AAP said it will halt all plans at Mopa until further investigation.

The AAP manifesto has promised to create 50,000 jobs in five years by supporting existing and new industries and entrepreneurship. The party has said it will introduce a “single-window clearance” and tax breaks for companies that set up “eco-friendly” businesses in Goa and hire locals. The Congress manifesto promises to reserve jobs for Goans in all private enterprises and government jobs and offer skill training and incentives to industries and investors willing to hire young Goans. The BJP also said it would create employment by boosting the tourism sector. Can Goa again become India’s largest exporter of iron ore and stay clean? Goa was India’s largest exporter of iron ore, before the Supreme Court imposed a ban on activity in 2012 after this report uncovered rampant illegal mining.

The ban left many unemployed because the state lacks other mass-employment opportunities-save tourism-or because its citizens do not have the educational qualifications for other jobs. The AAP has proposed to turn Goa into India’s first “corruption-free and pollution-free” mining state and promises to recover Rs 36,000 crore from the mining mafia. The party said it would employ drones to check illegal mining. To help those affected by mining ban-particularly truck drivers, machine-owners, and farmers-the AAP has promised a corpus of Rs 400 crore to fund compensation. The first instalment of this will be disbursed as compensation packages in the first two years of governance, the party’s manifesto said. The Congress has also promised to restore mining by acceding to the Supreme Court’s recommendations.

With mining activity stalled, tourism has become Goa’s top employer-currently engaging 10.2% of the state’s workforce. The AAP has proposed a “single-window clearance” system to issue licences for shacks on Goa’s beaches over the next six months, new toilets and CCTVs. The Congress has promised to offer licences for a five-year term. The BJP has promised changing rooms and toilets at all tourist locations-apart from promises to encourage ecological, event, medical, heritage, religious, adventure and village tourism. The party has also promised to make Goa a “preferred destination” for “mega events”, such as a defence expo, during the lean monsoon season. Both parties have also promised to clean up beaches and garbage-within a year of taking office, said the AAP manifesto-statewide.

While Goa has more public-health centres, by proportion, than any other state, and no shortage of doctors, a fifth of Goan children under the age of five are stunted, according to the latest government data. Nutritional issues coexist with rising obesity, especially lifestyle diseases. The Congress has promised “state-of-the-art” services for dialysis, physiotherapy, rapid diagnostics and pathology labs at every taluka-level hospitals and pharmacies at all primary health centres. It also promises support services, treatment and therapy for people with special needs (such as autism, Asperger’s, Down syndrome etc), differently-abled persons and senior citizens. The BJP has promised to extend a national insurance programme to government employees and strengthen government healthcare facilities.
