After you dedicate a page to each person who attended your Thanksgiving dinner, include group shots and decorate the pages anyway you'd like. You can add more stickers, fancy paper, ribbon, rubber stamp designs, or glitter. And no one says you have to keep your photograph the shape it comes. You can use your computer to enhance it by adding a border, give Aunt Tilly bunny ears, or you can even use fancy scissors to add scallops or wavy lives around your picture. Or you may want to cut each person out individually, eliminating the background.
On Saturday, November 13, 2010, 9 am - noon, Pam will teach a class called "Two Sewn as One". Students will learn how to cover boards with cloth and paper as well as sew a two signature book structure. Participants create an impressive hard cover book with a cloth colored spine, decorative paper cover, and cream colored text pages. Cost is $39.
The unit is a rectangular shaped box, measuring 5" tall, almost 4" across, and it's 3" deep. The color is black, and the majority of the unit is made from a faux leather, but it looks so realistic I had to smell it to see if it had that "leather smell". It did not.
Once I had all 3 pieces cut, I stitchedthem all together with my needle and lilac thread, then sewed in a purple bead, 4 black "cat's eye" type beats, and then 10 very small black beads. Next I stitched the flower to a piece of floral wire and then wrapped the wire around the headband to secure it in place. This one is simple and small and will probably be worn the most by my daughter.
Every day you successfully write down what time it is and your hunger level, you get a gold star, or a smiley face, or some other "fun" reward. Rewards should not be food, they should be nourishing to your soul instead. Some people like stickers, some like massages, whatever you like is fine. I like to reward myself with a massage once a month (I'd rather get one every day like Bob Hope, but that's another goal). Your goal is to achieve five or more smiley faces for the week. If you only manage two, is that bad? Heck, no. It's fantastic because it's an improvement over the week before. https://inanbaoan.com/In-so-da-bia-cong.html make sure you at least achieve what you did the week before and possibly exceed it, and slowly, you'll develop a new habit. This works with exercise too, slowly adding minutes.
Choose the Big Timer in a Leopard or Dragonfly print, or in a striped pattern. Or you might prefer solid leather book or genuine leather in black, pewter or copper. Handles or shoulder straps on each of these generous organizers allow you to use them as lovely stand-alone handbags.
Sometimes, writing on the book while reading is something other people want to do. They may find an interesting word to note by marking it for easy recall. Having a personalized pen would mean a lot because they can use it while doing their well-loved hobby.
