Minecraft 119s First Snapshot Is Live

We thought that it would be a bit further away but it's not - Mojang has announced that you can play Minecraft 1.19 today. If you are looking to play an experimental beta version, it is possible. The first experimental snapshot for 1.19 is now available for Minecraft: Java Edition Players and lets you delve into the Deep Dark and meet the Warden. wzjxzz

The official site has more information about how to install the snapshot. However there's no possibility of opening old worlds. You'll have to create a new world and it is unlikely that you'll be able to transfer any worlds from the experimental snapshot to future versions.

This snapshot isn't a complete list of all features scheduled for 1.19 which is also called the Wild update, but it does include the Deep Dark biome, the Ancient City biome, the Warden mob and sculk blocks and the swift sneak enchantment, and the darkness mob effect.

When you begin to play with the new features be aware that this is an experimental snapshot. This means that all of these systems are still in development, and every feature is subject to significant modifications.
