Star Citizen Update Doubles Server Size Game Still Isnt Out Yet

Star Citizen update, 3.17.2, launches today. It brings a host new features to the ambitious, long-gestating simulation, including a new vehicle as well as additional missions and dynamic events. There are also servers that can host twice the number of players.

Star Citizen previously could only carry 50 players to one server. The new update doubles this number to 100. NPCs also have better intelligence thanks to the new planetary navigation system. This allows them to find their way more effectively and smartly through rough terrain. Cloud Imperium claims that this will "serve as the foundation for future Star Citizen content".

Star Citizen is still a promising space-sim game after ten years.
