Teardown, also known as the "physics destruction simulator", has been confirmed and will be leaving Steam Early Access later in the month. Email Email The voxel-based simulation is the anti-Minecraft, where the focus is on destruction rather than creation and Teardown 1.0 is expected to be released in the near future - with no price increase, it seems.



Developer Tuxedo Labs has confirmed that Teardown, the part-puzzle adventure and all-destruction simulation is being removed from Early Access. However, it will remain at $19.99 or PS18.49. The full Teardown single-player campaign actually began in December and it's not a surprise that the final release will arrive just a few days after it.



Teardown is a heist-themed game where you aim to achieve a goal through the creation of destruction. It also has a full-sandbox mode that allows players to destroy entire levels in a variety satisfying ways. The final version includes "extensive mod support" and Steam Workshop integration", which already boasts over 2,000 user-created items - comprising everything from Minecraft pickaxes to black hole launchers, as well as maps inspired by Five Night's at Freddy's.
