Launcher Installer Stuck

I downloaded MC from the official website. When I attempt to run the Launcher Installer, it appears and says "Making things awesome" and the progress bar isn't moving. Minecraft servers I've tried closing it and reopening it. I've also tried closing it and opening it. i'm bonnie and you are I'm trying to download Java edition to see if it helps.

The latest launcher (released on Nov 2) has not been resolved for many players.

Assuming that you own the game and are not connected to GamePass Download and install the Windows 7/8 launcher. It's what they refer to as "the launcher" that we have used for a long time. (Link)

To stop the upgrade nag, right-click on the old launcher shortcut and set compatibility to Windows 8 under the Compatibility tab.

It's an absolute lifesaver! It wouldn't download after I downloaded it. The same issue as the person who posted this. It worked!

PS Please scroll down the link to see a launcher for Windows 7/8. Click it to download it. I'm dumb, i repeatedly downloaded windows 10/11 and again.
