Pastor Chris The Man

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian who was born in December 63 in Edo State. He was nurtured by his parents who were devoted to him. He is the child of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the founders of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City. Oyakhilome Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. Her divine grace was passed down to her son in the early years of his life.

The LoveWorld ministry is a collaborative effort between the families. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome The Reverend brother of Ken (the revered Pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is home of several best-selling gospel musicians.

Pastor Chris has two kids, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon, also known by CSO is a CSO member who has decided to follow the footsteps of her father, sharing the Word of God the world. She is a talented gospel singer who has won awards and is part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was educated in Edo College. He then received an award to study architecture at Bendel State University. He also holds an honourary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was the campus where he was able to feel God calling him to be an ordained minister to the Lord.

While still in university While still in university, the Man of God began what would be the largest congregation in the world. The group would later become the foundation of LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy, and eventually millions of followers across the globe.

Pastor Chris directed the LoveWorld ministry to become a pioneer in satellite television and Christian production and programming on television. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television channel that broadcasts 24/7 from Africa through free-to-air channels. There are LoveWorld television stations on satellite and cable networks around the world.

Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris’s native Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. The church has two healing schools, which are based in South Africa.

Music and Gospel Music play an integral element of worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches have a choir that is trained and overseen by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. A lot of the singers have successful solo careers.

The Man, God, has created a number of NGOs with the aim to provide vital assistance and hope. COFI has five partners who have all committed to improving living standards in some of the poorest areas.

Under the auspices of COFI is COFI's InnerCity Mission (ICM) for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations works to improve people's lives, health, spirits and overall well-being.

The charity also provides food for children who are in need. Pastor Chris believes in the development of strong communities through the encouragement of good governance and accountable leadership.
