"10,000 BC" by many reviewers and most of the public has been hailed as the worst film of the year, a work without sense, colliding with historical facts and simply hopeless. And the people who liked the picture were called fools, stupid people or people not familiar with the cinema. However, despite negative reviews, I will try to present the production of Roland Emmerich in a positive light. "10,000 BC" tells the story of the Jagal tribe, which is suffering from hunger due to constantly moving hunts for Manaki. One day, the fate of the strain unexpectedly changes, thanks to the arrival of the blue-eyed girl Evolet (Camilla Belle) to the village. The stranger, according to the prophecy of the old mother, is the hope of a better life for the Jagals, as well as a harbinger of the tribe's fight with four-legged demons.

Although the near future is not painted in the best colors for our prehistoric ancestors, the shaman mentions a hunter who will defend their settlement and become the future husband of Evolet. The plot of the film resembles a legend, because it is a story told from the perspective of a narrator, who from time to time joins the production, adding some facts. I liked this convention very much because it allows us to empathize with the story presented to us and gives the impression that we really listen to the mythical story.
The plot invented by Roland Emmerich is a bit pulled and sometimes impossible, but isn't that what this is about? I have the impression that some could not empathize with the director's fantasy and were not carried away by the legend. I know and understand that the picture I am discussing has many mistakes, from a historical perspective, but I think that the film was not meant to educate us, as according to some reviewers, but to provide nice, sometimes funny and touching entertainment. "10,000 BC" is a production full of feelings. For a viewer with a more developed emotional sphere, Emmerich's work will be a picture of perfect love, dedication, heroism, devotion and courage. Watching the movie you can really feel a lot of emotions, if only we forget about the errors and illogicalities, which are not such a big drawback, if you remember that this story did not really happen. I should also mention the acting, which stands on a decent level in the picture, thanks to which the characters created and created by Emmerich are expressive and very realistic. I would like to draw attention to the acting of the two main characters D'Leh (Steven Strait) and Evolet (Camilla Belle).
To sum up, despite the illogicality and inaccuracy with historical facts, with a simple, stretchy and fairy-tale story, and with basic human feelings presented in a very natural way, it is a great picture for people who want to watch a casual story full of adventure, ensuring a perfect rest after a hard day's work or learning ..
