Try Minecraft: Education Edition for no cost
January 20, 2022 18:21 20:21Minecraft Education Edition is free to everyone! You can either try Minecraft: Education Edition free of charge through the demo lesson or the trial for free. The trial is free but you need to sign up for an account either an Office 365 Education account or a Microsoft 365 account. The demo lesson is not requiring an account or login. This article will explain how to make use of the demo lesson as well as the trial version for free.
Technical requirements
Minecraft: Education Edition is compatible with Chromebook, iPad and Mac. To ensure that Minecraft: Education Edition is compatible with your device, go through the System Requirements article.
About the free trial
The trial version for free is fully functional and contains all the features available in the paid version. The trial is compatible with Code Connection and Classroom Mode. For more information about these features, refer to the Get Started With Code Connection and Get started with Classroom Mode articles.
The trial is limited by the number of logins (25 for teachers who have an Office 365 Education account and 10 for all other users) before you can purchase a paid license to continue playing. Trial logins cannot be refreshed. If you have any issues, contact our support team immediately so you don't use all your trial logins! After your trial logins have been used, Minecraft: Education Edition is available to purchase.

Demo lessons let you try Minecraft Education Edition free of charge and without registration. Demo lessons are limited in functionality. Worlds and progress have not be saved and it's impossible to host or participate in multiplayer games. Demo lessons give you the opportunity to experience a real lesson in Minecraft Education Edition. You can experience each lesson as many times as you like.
Start a demo lesson
Follow these steps to experience a demo lesson
Select the Minecraft: Education Edition version you want to download from the Get Minecraft download page. ronmail The Minecraft: Education Edition you downloaded should be installed. Start Minecraft Education Edition. At the Welcome to Minecraft Education Edition screen, choose If you don't have an account, you can try the demo lesson. To view the license agreement, choose View Terms. When you are ready to play, select Accept the Terms and Play. Select Start Lesson.
